Bắt giữ 37 đối tượng đá gà ăn tiền, thu giữ 100 triệu đồng

Ngày 22-8 da ga live  nhận được thông tin, Công an huyện Châu Thành đang lấy lời khai 37 đối tượng để điều tra về hành vi đánh bạc và tổ chức đánh bạc dưới hình thức đá gà ăn tiền.

Trước đó, vào lúc 15h ngày 21-8 theo nguồn tin từ người dân. Công an huyện Châu thành, phối hợp cùng đội CSCĐ và công an hình sự tỉnh Tiền Giang đã đánh úp vào bãi đất trống phía sau nhà ông Phùng Thanh Ri. Tại thời điểm kiểm tra phát hiện có 2 nhóm, hơn 30 đối tượng tham gia đánh bạc dưới hình thức đá gà ăn tiền. Sới gà hoạt động ở khu đất rộng 10.000m2, tại lối vào độc đạo luôn có người thay phiên canh gác để báo động nếu công an xuất hiện.

Tang vật thu giữ tại hiện trường khoảng 50 chiếc điện thoại di động, 28 xe máy, 6 con gà, 1 chiếc cân và khoảng 100 triệu đồng. Công an đã đưa 37 người về trụ sở để đấu tranh Đối tượng cầm đầu trực tiếp tổ chức được xác định là ông Phùng Thanh Ri (39 tuổi) là chủ khu đất trống tổ chức đá gà ăn tiền.

Các đối tượng Huỳnh Trọng Khải (33tuổi quê Bến Tre) , Phan Thanh Bình (31tuổi quê Trà Vinh) có nhiệm vụ hỗ trợ Ri tổ chức hoạt động đá gà. Theo công an, tụ điểm đá gà này hoạt động được hơn 3 tháng và không thường xuyên. Mỗi trận gà đá xổ là 20tr đồng, Ri sẽ lấy 5% tiền xâu.

Hiện tại các đối tượng này đã bị bắt giữ và đang được cơ quan điều tra làm rõ vụ việc đánh bài đá gà ăn tiền này.
